You're cordially invited to the first Coffee with the Principal on August 21st from 8:15-9:15am in person and via Zoom. The topic will be "Creating Welcoming Environments." We have certainly done that this week. We will also review our goals for this year and answer questions. We’ll bring the coffee. We hope you can make it.

Breakfast is served from 7:30-8:00am each morning at our lunch tables. So get here early to get a great start to your day!

On the first day of school, we will have a brief Meet & Greet session during student breakfast time at the breakfast area from 7:45-8:00am for those families who wish to meet their child’s new teacher.

Also on the first day, please stop by and visit our Friends of Clifford Welcome Table at our main entrance. It's always great to start the year with a friendly smile.

This brief session will allow parents to meet this year’s teachers and preview our goals and expectations. During the Orientation, our new students will have an opportunity to learn about their playground expectations and become familiar with our campus and routines (where to line up, where to play, restrooms, etc).

Join Friends of Clifford as the board recaps our 2024–2025 school year accomplishments, and gives a sneak peek of next school year. All parents, guardians, and families are welcome to attend via Zoom to participate in this parent-teacher organization (PTO) that gives back to the Clifford Street Elementary community.

Join our new LAUSD Green Schools Coalition. We’re a group of passionate and highly motivated parents, caretakers, staff and teachers (we see you Climate Champions) from across LA county and we are looking for more eco-warriors to help us in our mission.

Join us for an afternoon of fun, friendship, and sustainable fashion!

✅ Snacks, chairs, and picnic blankets
✅ Outdoor toys for the kids to enjoy
✅ Gently used kids’ clothes to swap and recycle

Let’s share laughs, and give our little ones a chance to play while we refresh their wardrobes in an eco-friendly way! Any leftover clothes will be donated to a nonprofit organization to help families in need. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Parents and guardians should attend with their children to attend all booths.
After school programs will also bring children to the event in small groups.

Join Clifford St. families, friends, and staff at Chuck E. Cheese for food and fun on Fri, March 14 after school.

Chuck E. Cheese will donate 20% of proceeds from this timeframe to Friends of Clifford to fund important programs at our school.

Our first 2024 Friends of Clifford fundraiser is here! "Panda Pilates at WundaBar Los Feliz" on Saturday December 7th at 7:30 AM.  What could be better than Pilates for a good cause that benefits our children?
